Smile Solutions, "Melbourne's Home of Dentistry", is located in the magnificent Manchester Unity Building in the heart of Melbourne's CBD. We occupy four entire levels, plus the tower, all of which are of great significance within the art deco movement and Australia's national architectural heritage.
We are a multidisciplinary practice, home to over 60 practitioners, 20 of which are board registered specialists in the fields of oral surgery, endodontics, orthodontics, periodontics and prosthodontics.
Reporting to the Specialist Centre Manager, this position allows the successful candidate to work in the Specialist Centre by working collaboratively within the broader business to ensure smooth running of the center as well as support patients in specialist or multi-disciplinary care. The ideal candidate will be proactive and passionate about people and is seeking a role with endless career opportunities.
Job Description
You will gain experience working with all aspects of Specialist Dentistry including:
Periodontics
Prosthodontics
Endodontics
Orthodontics
Responsibilities:
Assisting the team with patient communications including in person and on the telephone.
Management of general anaesthetic hospital lists.
Extensive treatment planning.
Processing of accounts and payment plans.
Scheduling and efficient organisation of patients treatment.
Individual attention to each specialist dentist and their requirements.
Administrative tasks as directed by practice management.

Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional organisation and multi-tasking skills.

Proficiency in dental practice management software (Experience with Dental4Windows (D4W) is highly desirable but not essential)
