Smile Solutions, also known as "Melbourne's Home Of Dentistry", occupies six floors and the tower of the magnificent Manchester Unity Building in the heart of Melbourne's CBD. We utilise the resources, knowledge and experience of more than 60 in-house clinicians, including general dentists and board–registered specialists in all fields of dental expertise.
Our dynamic team of clinicians is enthusiastically supported by our management, reception, and nursing staff, 25 of whom have been with our practice for more than 10 years. Job Description
The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Dental Hygienist/Oral Health Therapist to work approximately 4 sessions per week. This opportunity suits someone who is looking for a challenge and development in their career and loves working in a large and dedicated multidisciplinary team.
This opportunity will provide exposure to the following:
Hygiene under the guidance of specialist periodontists
Orthodontic therapy amongst a team of specialist orthodontists
Children’s therapy with mentorship of specialist paediatric dentists
Smile Solutions provides opportunities for Oral Health Therapists in Treatment Coordinator roles.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to expand their skill set and work within an established hygiene and therapy team that services patients with everything from routine hygiene appointments through to orthodontic treatment coordinating and everything in between.
The chosen candidate will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
Be degree qualified as a Dental Hygienist or Oral Health Therapist.
Relevant 2+ years of clinical experience.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Good attention to detail.
Highly motivated and self-driven with an excellent work ethic.
A high level of clinical knowledge and technical competence.
Knowledge with D4W/Orthotrac preferred.
Remuneration is negotiable and is based on experience within the industry.
