Job Description

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for a part-time junior Operations Assistant to work within our projects and facilities team and gain hands on experience in a wide variety of administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will be proactive and passionate about the presentation of our practice and enjoy working in a large team-oriented environment.

This position is based at our CBD location, but will help coordinate operational tasks at our suburban Core Dental practices located throughout Melbourne.

Responsibilities                                              

  • Restocking and management of our online Shopify site, including liaising with customers and managing physical stock levels across all practice locations.
  • Cleaning and general upkeep of all kitchen facilities.
  • Key and fob management for our CBD practice, including any additional onboarding support for new staff as directed.
  • Assisting with the coordination of all onsite maintenance activities, including organising external contractor quotes and ordering applicable parts.
  • Maintain stationary supplies and run general office errands.
  • Adhoc administrative tasks as directed by the Projects and Facilities Group Manager. 

Requirements

  • Part-time position (24 hours per week) – this can be spread across either 3 or 5 days per week. The hours can also be flexible depending on the candidate.
  • A passion for customer service and office operations.
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong administration skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic.
