Smile Solutions, "Melbourne's Home of Dentistry"™, is located in the magnificent Manchester Unity Building in the heart of Melbourne's CBD. We occupy four entire levels, plus the tower, all of which are of great significance within the art deco movement and Australia's national architectural heritage. We are a multidisciplinary practice, home to 60 practitioners, 20 of which are board registered specialists in the fields of oral surgery, endodontics, orthodontics, periodontics and prosthodontics.

Our beauty department is a small niche clinic nestled within our beautiful dental clinic. The aim of Smile Beauty is to provide a premium service to our patients and team members to enhance the experience of being a patient at Smile Solutions. This position also offers the opportunity to transition into a career within the dental industry with opportunities to expand your skills into both dental assisting and dental reception available. Based on this we are open to candidates looking for exclusively 2 days per week of beauty therapy or candidates that are seeking a full-time job that includes both beauty and dental. 

About The Role:

Working within a multidisciplinary dental practice you will work autonomously to provide a relaxing and soothing experience for our patients. Although you will have the opportunity to put a personal touch on the treatments offered, the treatments the clinic offers include:

• Body Scrubs
• Full facials
• Performing brow and lash treatments including tinting, waxing, lamination and lifts
• Body and facial waxing
• Relaxation massage
• As required you will share the role of answering the phone, taking bookings, answering messages and greeting clients

We are study/family friendly and are seeking someone initially for 2 days per week 9am to 5pm. The appointment book has 90 minute templated appointments so that you ideally only see 4 patients on any given day.  

About You:

In addition to your passion for results-driven beauty therapy, you will need:

• A Diploma in Beauty Therapy.
• Previous experience in a spa or clinic environment is highly regarded.
• Passion for learning.
• Be an autonomous worker.
• Impeccable presentation and a caring personality.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, time management and organisation skills.
